DMRC SENDS REPORT ON FREE RIDES FOR WOMEN COMMUTERS IN DELHI

DMRC:-According to the dmrc report,its average earning from both men and women commuters are 9.47 crores daily.

DMRC OFFER FOR LADIES:-If the scheme is implied after clearance from a fare fixation committee than the delhi metro need around Rs1,566 crores annual subsidy from the delhi government.

It is be notified by the union government under the delhi metro railway(operation and
Maintain)act 2002.

DMRC principal advisor sreedharan,who played a important role in setting up the metro network in Delhi bas it is first managing directors, has written to prime minister narendar modi,opposing the fare waiver decision, saying the government's will not be able to subsidised the scheme in the future with rising fares and expanding network.

And one more problem is that once concession is given to the one sections of the commuters demand will also arise from other section also such as student ,the handicapped etc.
After all that delhi deputy cm manish sisodia wrote ,saying that the scheme will create winning situation for everyone and he also wrote that the delhi metro running at less than 65%of its capacity.
